Xtreme HID kit installed in Low Beams and Fogs in 2011 Chevrolet Equinox

January 17, 2012

Here are some pictures from one of our customers who installed our Xtreme HID kit in the low beams and fogs of their 2011 Chevrolet Equinox. The Equinox uses H11 bulbs for both the low beams and fogs meaning you will need an H11 HID kit. 2011+ Chevrolet Equinox vehicles will also require capacitors on the low beams to prevent the DRL’s from interfering with the HID kit. This component is something we offer for FREE to all of our Equinox Forum members. All you have to do is enter the coupon code “EF” upon checkout.

Many Chevrolet Equinox models come standard with Projector Headlights and Projector Fog Lights which makes them the perfect candidate for an HID kit. Projector Headlights will provide you with a concentrated beam pattern and a sharp, defined cut off.

XenonDepot HID kit installed in Toyota Venza

January 3, 2012

Just wanted to share a few of these awesome pictures from a customer who installed an Xtreme HID kit in their Toyota Venza. The Venza uses H11 bulbs on the low beams meaning you will need an H11 HID kit. This customer went with 4300k for the color temperature to get the most light and OEM functionality  (“Factory installed HID” look). The Venza is also equipped with factory projector headlights making it a perfect candidate for an HID kit.

“The lights have been fantastic!  Still going strong and working flawlessly.” – John, Hawaii

If you own a 2010+ Chevrolet Equinox and are interested in getting some aftermarket upgrades for your new toy then consider a XenonDepot HID kit! Many of the new Chevrolet Equinox vehicles are equipped with factory projector headlights which make them a perfect candidate for an HID kit. Below are some pics of our 5000k HID kit – this color temperature will give you a crisp white output with a very slight hint of blue. The 2010+ Equinox uses H11 bulbs on the low beams meaning you will need an H11 HID kit.

The 2010+ Equinox does require an additional trick to set up an HID kit. It’s very simple to do and we provide everything you need to do the install. Contact us at 877-522-2701 to get more info!

Look at how sharp and defined that cut off is! All of our HID kits use laser aligned bulbs which means your stock beam pattern will be replicated.

A lot of people are also upgrading their high beam bulbs with Osram Nightbreaker Plus halogen bulbs – these bulbs are up to 90% brighter than stock and the quality is second to none! To upgrade these on your Equinox you will need Osram Nightbreaker Plus 9005 automotive bulbs

3000K Xtreme HID Kit Installed in a 2011 Honda Fit

2011 Honda Fit 3000K Xtreme HID Kit

Here are some recent pictures a customer sent us of his 2011 Honda Fit with an Xtreme HID Kit installed in his H11 fog lights.

The customer upgraded their fog lights with a 3000k Yellow HID Kit.  The intent of having yellow fog lights is to improve vision by removing shorter, blue wave lengths from the projected light. Aside from being functional, yellow fog lights actually look great! They offer a nice contrast when compared to your low beam headlights. Upgrading to a 3000K Xtreme HID Kit will also give your car, truck, or SUV a distinct look.

Check out these latest pictures from one of our customers who installed an Xtreme HID kit in his 2010 Toyota Corolla S. The Corolla uses 9006 bulbs for the Low Beam meaning that a 9006 HID kit was installed. This customer went with 4300k color temperature for the brightest possible light output.

The customer also purchased a pair of WeatherTech Window Visors for the front and back windows. WeatherTech Visors and Deflectors are crafted in Germany and are made out of the high quality 3mm lightly-tinted acrylic material. Here’s the unbiased review from the customer:

It all started about two months ago when I called XenonDepot and spoke to Steve. I was initially going to buy a set of DDM HIDs but read on here that some members were having issues with their kits. I drilled Steve with questions (Sorry Steve lol) about his products versus the competitors that have been discussed here and he gave me the rundown between them. With the quality and customer service that Steve provided, I chose to select one of their HID kits. Don’t get me wrong, he didn’t bash any other companies but just told me what his offered and answered my questions completely.

Then came another decision lol…..which kit do I go with? I called him back a week later to ask about the Volt and Xtreme kits. The main difference is the relay harness that the Xtreme comes with, which I knew, but I wanted to know the feedback about the Volt. He told me that many customers get the Volt kit since its a little less expensive and have been very happy. I was curious about the longevity and running a kit on our cars without a relay harness. Every car that I had prior to my Corolla, I have ran a relay, whether it came with the kit or I made it myself.

In the end, I bought the Xtreme kit just because I wanted that peace of mind with a harness. It is a little more expensive, but “you gotta pay to play” right? SO anyways, I just installed it and happy with my decision. I got the 4300k Xtreme kit and WeatherTech Window Visors.

Thank you Steve for all your help and sorry if I was a pest. Customer service is top notch, don’t stray away from that. One major reason why I chose XenonDepot.
