4300k Xtreme HID kit with Philips bulbs in Lexus GX470

August 17, 2011

Just wanted to share a few pictures of our Xtreme HID kit installed in a Lexus GX470. This customer upgraded their HID kit with genuine 4300k Philips HID bulbs to gain the most light output. The Lexus GX470 also uses projector headlights which makes it a perfect candidate for an HID conversion kit. The 4300k HID kit will provide you with 2-3 times more light output than stock. Once you drive a vehicle equipped with HID’s you will never want to go back to halogen again!

Have a look at this great shot from one of our customers that installed an Xtreme HID kit in their Lexus RX350. The Lexus RX350 uses an H11 bulb for both the Low Beams and the Fog Lights meaning you will need an H11 HID kit. This customer also upgraded their HID kit with genuine 4300k Philips HID bulbs to maximize light output. The light output is fantastic and it looks great! No comparison to stock halogen bulbs!

Fake Philips HID Bulbs continued…

July 29, 2011

We recently posted a blog discussing fake German Philips HID kits and fake Philips D2S HID bulbs. As a result, we have gotten many questions from people asking about whether the bulbs the Philips bulbs and or HID kits were genuine or fake. We decided to post a couple of more pictures showing the differences between genuine and OEM Philips HID bulbs. While there are quite a few differences between the genuine Philips HID Bulbs and the fake ones, they differences are very subtle and can easily be missed if you are not looking for them. I hope these pictures help!
