Lexus GX470 H3 HID Kit Installation DIY

Here is a great DIY for a Lexus GX470, a customer from the Club Lexus forums sent us the following step by step on how to properly install an HID kit in the GX470’s H3 fog lights.

An alternate method, for  installation of the 4300K Volt HID Kit, H3 fog lamps on the Lexus GX 470.

This installation will take some technical skills and a little patience. This is on the drivers side, looking upward. Remove the electrical connector to the fog light. The green wire on the factory harness is the hot wire.  Push in on the tab hard (red arrow) and wiggle and pull downward. Remove the retaining bolt with a 10 mm wrench/ socket. Push the fog light housing forward to remove.

HID Kit installed in Porsche Cayenne Turbo

March 8, 2010

A big thanks goes out to our customer for sending in these great pics of our Xtreme HID Kit installed in their Porsche Cayenne Turbo. He recently installed a 6500k HID Kit on the Fog Lights and also installed a new set of D1s HID Bulbs on their Low beams. The Xtreme 6500k HID kit offers a bright white output with a very slight blueish tone. It is a very popular upgrade to do if you want to get more colour out of your factory HID headlights without compromising too much light output.
